If you like your craft works to be jaw-tinglingly divine, and to convincingly blur the line between craft and art, we recommend a visit to this Brit-centric craft event taking place at Wellington College, Crowthorne, this October.
Priding themselves on showcasing only the most innovative and skilful designer makers, the Craft in Focus organisers promise a shopping experience far removed from the High Street, and invite you to visit to ìseek out contemporary craftmakers to purchase something that is not mass-produced and that has been designed and handcrafted in the UK.î
Alongside glass, jewellery, furnishings, and ceramics, there will be some inspiring textiles and fashion, including work by IT Knits (shown at the tp of this post) and Elaine Davies (shown left).
We think it’s the perfect place to get an early start on your Christmas shopping, or treat yourself!
Tickets cost £4.50 for adults, £3.50 for over 65s, accompanied under 14s free. Find out more at the Craft in Focus website or call 01622 747 325.
