We’re very excited about our sister title Simply Knitting’s 100th issue! The magazine will be in UK shops from Wed 31 October, with 100 fabulous patterns and more than 100 knitting prizes to be won.

It’s going to be a massive celebration!

We’re particularly charmed by the gorgeous Advent Calendar designed by Emma King, which appears in the Hand Knit Christmas supplement. As we love knitting mittens and socks we think it will be a doddle – and really fun!

Talking for socks, we’ve also fallen for Mimi Hill’s stockings which appear in the Hand Knit Christmas supplement too.

The main challenging will be choosing between the one with a traditional colourway and the deliciously frosty version. Or maybe we should just knit both!
