What have you got planned for Breast Cancer Care’s Pink Fridays campaign? We vote for knitting and selling pink accessories to raise funds for the charity!
Taking place throughout October, the Pink Fridays campaign is a bright, cheery way of supporting the 50,000 people who are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK.
All you need to do to take part is raise vital funds by wearing pink, eating pink or crafting pink.
We fell in love with this image of cute knitted cupcakes knitted by one of Breast Cancer Care’s volunteers. Little Cotton Rabbits do a very similar pattern for just £2, so we vote for buying the pattern and supporting a fabulous knitting designer, then knit the cupcakes and sell them to raise funds for Breat Cancer Awareness.
Of course, if you like you could also bake up a batch of real cupcakes and see which sell fastest!
Money raised will help fund vital services, such as the charity’s helpline, information points in hospitals and support groups for people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
