Knit for Refuge, and inspire others too!

Refuge knitting group posterWe know lots of you are knitting busily for our Refuge 'Bears and Squares' campaign, and we’re really grateful for that! We’d love it if you could also help us to spread the word and hopefully inspire others to knit for Refuge.

If you are in a knitting group we would love it if you would download and print out the special ‘knitting groups knit for Refuge' poster – either click here or on the image.

And if you run or work in a yarn or craft shop, we love it if you would download and print out the special ‘craft shop knit for Refuge' poster – just click on the link to get it.

Our goal is to raise £10,000 for Refuge. So far we've raised a grand £2,077.50, which we're really happy about, but we've got a long way to go!

Due to the nature of the service provided by Refuge in helping women and children escape violent homes, they often arrive with nothing but the clothes they are wearing, which is why these handknitted teds and blankets mean so much.

We need all the help we can get, so the more knitters who find out what we’re doing and why, the better!

Thank you so much for your help.
