The Knitter’s Commissioning Editor Rosee Woodland shares her three latest knitting projects with us, revealing her current passion for autumnal shades.

1 “I adore Kitman Figueroa’s complex lace shawls and scarves. I’m knitting ‘Missie’, a straight scarf, using Easyknits Deeply Wicked 4ply yarn in Harvest Gold (see above). It’s a fabulous colour and pattern.
2 “I’ve finished my ‘Cobble Hill Pullover’ by Erica Patberg from Interweave Knits, Spring 2012.
I love its construction (you can wear it both ways up and back to front!) but I didn’t want a heavy sweater so, instead of the recommended chunky alpaca yarn, I held together three strands of fine yarn – Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light, Habu Linen Paper, and Habu Tsumugi Silk – to create a DK weight mix, which I knitted on 6mm needles.
I also left off the cowl neck to create an airy boat neck.”
3 “I was excited to help Ravelry celebrate its fifth birthday by voting for the design for a project bag to celebrate the milestone (along with 117,056 other knitters!).
My favourite design wasn’t chosen, but I still bought the winner, by Elloknits, as it’s fab. Get yours for $8.50 from www.ravelry.com/minimart
