We love a bit of colour with our knitting, and textile artist Sarah Thorp certainly provides that!
We encountered Sarah's glorious knitted creations while perusing the West Bristol Arts Trail in October, and were thrilled to discover that she also runs knitting workshops.
The next one, Exploring Colour and Textures, takes place on Thursday 08 November from 9.30-3pm at the Heart Space Studios, Harcourt Road, Redland BS6.
It costs £45 to attend, and Sarah descripes it as “a wonderful opportunity to experiment and knit it beautiful natural yarns” supplied by Colinette Yarns, from pure wool to mohair, silk and bamboo.
You’ll learn to use yarns to blend colours, create stitches and combine textures.
