Delicate textures and a luxurious yarn combine in this pretty jumper by Vladimira Cmorejova. Inspired by the nature around her, Vladimira has scattered the silky top with a subtle design that’s reminiscent of seed pods or tiny leaves.
With its low, round neckline and cropped sleeves, the garment is light yet warm – so is ideal for spring.
You can get hold of this pattern by buying a digital version of The Knitter Issue 30.
It has been designed with negative ease for a fitted look. This means that the actual measurement of the sweater will be smaller than your body measurements, and ensures that your sweater looks fitted and not baggy.
Fyberspates Scrumptious 4ply is a shimmering blend of merino and silk, yet it is machine washable, so it’s very practical.
What’s more, the pattern calls for just three or four skeins, so creating the jumper won’t be too expensive a treat. Vladimira has provided pattern instructions in both written and charted forms. The seed pod design appears on the lower sections of the body and the sleeves, while subtle waist shaping provides a feminine silhouette.
