Have you been wanting to find out more about The Knitter’s new deputy editor? Long before joining the team, Rosee Woodland was one of our regularly contributing knitwear designers, as well as teaching a wide variety of knitting and craft workshops in the UK South West.
Fortunately, Rosee is continuing to design and teach, with her latest class taking place at Get Knitted in Bristol on Saturday 21 May 2011.
The class runs from 10.30am - 4.30pm with an hour for lunch, and will equip you with everything you need to know to tackle lace knitting projects.
Rosee will explain how lace stitch construction works in a straightforward way, and you will also learn about knitting from charts, lace cast-ons and how to use lace techniques to achieve the effects you want in your knitting. You’ll even get to start your own super-speedy lace project! Yarn will be provided – you just need to bring a pair of needles.
The one-day workshop costs £45.00 (Including VAT at 20%). Book your place at http://getknitted.com
Find out more about Rosee’s latest lace project in her blog entry on blocking on Monday.
